Computer solutions for small to medium sized businesses. I develop Local Area Networks, Web sites and Host web sites for my clients. I sell and install Hardware and Software solutions for corporations and provide management services. Confidentiality and security are important issues with me concerning my clients. I customize my services to fit all of my clients individual needs.
About my background and experience.....
As a teenager, I began my career as a freelance photographer. Friends of the family guided me into politics. Then came horse racing (Thoroughbreds). Great fun, but not the life for me.
In the mid to late 70's I began working with a small Ohio company that sold lubrication and release agents for the Glass Forming Industry. After learning the Industries needs, I started to develop improved methods of applying these products with success. I traveled quite a bit and the Glass Industry took over my life.
Throughout my involvement with the Glass Industry, I did step away every few years for rest and relaxation. During this time off I would get involved in other pursuits.
In the early 80's I started to develop electronic controls. These controls improved not only the application of the lubrication but enhanced the lubrication itself. My development of these electronic controls lead me to Computer controls and I was hooked. This issue was the beginning of the end of the relationship between the Ohio company and myself. I focused my Industrial activities on the Specialized Glass Markets and customizing my equipment and processes to meet their needs.
One day in 1985, a friend asked me if I would help someone who was having problems with their computer. I agreed. That started my life as a computer consultant. I really enjoy working with computers and helping people to understand and use them.
Over the years I have cut back on my Industrial work because of the travel demands and family matters, but I have not quit. I still work on one or two projects a year as time permits. In the 90's computers became an obsession for me. They still are to this day.
In my Home Office, I have built a Local Area Network where I experiment and test computers and software. I am happy with my computer lab and my work in the computer industry. My passion continues.
My exposure to different professions and teachers throughout my life has given me a unique view of the world and how it works. I continue to learn and grow as a person. Not everyone appreciates this about me but that gives me an advantage. I am outspoken and to the point. The bottom line, I enjoy all I do!
Photography has become a large part of my life in the last two years or so, I am active as a Commercial photographer and I am exploring the Art Photography arena.
I do enjoy working in the computer & business field still but photography is drawing me back.
